The Move Was Necessary Because Medium Went Woke
Medium has made a move that literally moves against its mission statement to provide an avenue for independent writers through which they can attempt to glean compensation for their words.
Those who haven’t met a certain threshold are now being expunged from the compensation program. In the age of automation and the internet, the idea that it “costs” Medium anything to keep less popular writers in the fold is a bald-faced lie.
More likely is that Medium has become an ideologically slanted venue that is increasingly dabbling in censorship and the expungement of those who do not tow the Woke narrative.
